Worldwide Delivery Since we launched the Nightfox Prowl we have been listening to the Nightfox community and working to optimise its performance, both for new Nightfoxers and those who already have a Prowl.
We now have a firmware update available that improves the performance of the Prowl significantly. The video below shows the same scene, captured using the old and new firmware. There is significantly less lag with the new firmware, making for much smoother footage.
Do I need to update, or is my firmware already new?
Probably. We're always working to improve our products, so it is likely that an update is available for your Prowl. You can find out the firmware version you have by accessing the settings menu on your Prowl. The latest firmware update is available here.
Will my prowl be better if I update?
We think so. However, if you want to downgrade for any reason we can provide older firmware versions.
